Thank you in advance for volunteering your valuable time. Munchkin Market would not be possible without the help received from our AWESOME volunteers! As a thank you for volunteering, you can earn early shopping privileges so you can find the best deals for your family! In addition, you will also help us run a successful sale and give back to local families and our community!
What to expect volunteering:
Your job as a volunteer is to help make the sale run as smoothly as possible. You can help with setting everything up, helping tag and put donated clothing and items out on the floor, help make sure the tables are orderly and tidy during the sale, help bag items at check out or help tearing down at the end.
A few things to note when you volunteer with Munchkin Market:

ARRIVE EARLY: When working your volunteer shift, please arrive a few minutes early. Sign in, get a volunteer vest and get an assignment from the Munchkin Market Coordinator.

CHILDCARE: We provide FREE childcare during your shifts for children under 12.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure to E-MAIL the Munchkin Market Coordinator and reserve your spot early as childcare is first come first served by pre-registration.

IF YOUR CAN'T VOLUNTEER: We need manpower so if you as a consignor can’t volunteer, you can send your husband in your stead. We especially need help during set up and tear down from the men.

EARN THE MOST FOR YOUR SALES: If a consignor works three (3) or more shifts, they receive 70% of their sale proceeds.

IF YOU FAIL TO SHOW UP: If a consignor fails to work their assigned shift(s), their proceeds may be reduced to 50% instead of 70%. Please contact us immediately if you will not be able to make your volunteer shift.

TAGGING PARTIES: do not count towards volunteer hours. Tagging Parties are an event only offered to MOPS Mom Members

IF YOU ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN A VOLUNTEER SHIFT AND NOT IN CONSIGNING: please click HERE and under the login button, click "Need to Register as a Worker". This will direct you to the New Worker Registration form that you need to fill out. You must sign up for 4 shifts to shop before the public at 3 PM on Thursday.
Please remember our #1 pre-sale rule:
1. Pre-Sale Shopping is only for Consignors/Volunteers/Donors who qualify based on the requirements outlined above. Only the adult entitled to early shopping may shop at the designated time.

No other adult(s) will be allowed during the pre-sale shopping. This includes spouses.

Children newborn to 3yo may remain with you in a stroller or carrier.

Limited childcare for those who qualify for pre-sale shopping hours will be provided at no charge for children 12 and under. Childcare is only available to those who qualify for pre-sale shopping and ends promptly at 3pm. Drop off will begin ten minutes prior to the doors opening. To reserve your spot, email the MM Coordinator at munchkinmarket@gmail.com.

ONE child (between the ages of 3-18) will be allowed to shop with you if you choose. They must remain with you. They cannot shop on their own. If you have multiple children who would like to shop, you may exchange them during the shopping time but only one will be allowed entry at a time.
Want to clear the clutter, shop before the general public EVEN earlier, and make some money while you're at it?
If you choose to consign AND help us with three (3) volunteer shifts, you are able to shop the pre-sale at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. This is 2 HOURS before the general public on our first day of the sale! Plus, you will earn 70% profit (instead of 50%) on all your sales!
If you choose to consign AND help us with five (5) + volunteer shifts, not only will you make 70% on all your sales; you are also able to shop the pre-sale at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday AND 8:30 a.m. on Saturday (our half price day)!
