WHAT IS MOPS?

MOPS stands for "Mothers of Preschoolers" - but don't let that confuse you. MOPS is about meeting the needs of every mom who has children aged conception through kindergarten. MOPS helps mothers of young children realize their potential as moms, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with the local church. This purpose is accomplished primarily through relationships built among mothers as they interact, share ideas, encourage each other, and find that they are not alone. We meet together, as moms, to encourage each other! Each meeting includes social time, guest speakers, creative activities, and group discussion. Meet other moms, get inspired, and connect with valuable resources to help you in your journey as mom.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY MEMBERSHIP?

Small groups - Discussions within an established group to help moms connect with each other, encourage each other, and share in the joys and challenges of motherhood.
Childcare - Our dedicated workers teach and play with your children during each MOPS meeting, allowing you to focus on developing deeper relationships with other moms. Children enjoy Bible stories, crafts, playtime, snacks and other fun activities.
Speakers - Relevant topics pertaining to womanhood and motherhood
Supplies/Creative Activities - Hands-on crafts, games and other activities to encourage friendship, fun and laughter.

The Ute Pass MOPS Steering team helps us run MOPS! Each of us have young children and have a heart for other moms in the same season. Our greatest desire is to meet each mom exactly where they are in a warm and welcoming environment. Our hope is that you would never feel alone or isolated in this journey of motherhood!
